Comedian Yokozawa Natsuko Acts as Supervisor at Kizuna Tokyo’s Morinaga Candy Factory Pavilion

Japanese comedian Yokozawa Natsuko, a longtime fan of Kizuna Tokyo, took on the role of “supervisor” at the centre’s newly renovated Morinaga Candy Factory pavilion. The attraction, which has been part of Kizuna since its 2006 opening, lets children create original Hi‑Chew candies. The refurbishment added a product‑development history exhibit, new interior and exterior design, and introduced a limited‑time blue‑raspberry flavour that will be available until 16 September 2026, after which a grape flavour will replace it.

During a ceremony Yokozawa guided children through the candy‑making process, describing the supervisor’s role as a supportive adult “senior” rather than a caretaker. Children praised her performance, and staff said her enthusiasm and clear communication were “100 points”. Yokozawa expressed delight at being able to work in the pavilion and encouraged families to visit the new experience.
