Comedian Yoon Taek reveals past business failure and debt

Comedian Yoon Taek revealed his past struggles with business failure during an appearance on the MBN talk show ‘Kim Ju-ha’s Day and Night’. Before his career in entertainment, Yoon operated successful businesses in promotional goods and Dongdaemun clothing wholesale, at one point managing a venture company with 31 employees.

However, the collapse of the venture boom led to the failure of his business, resulting in hundreds of millions of won in debt and the loss of his parents' home through an auction. Yoon shared that he eventually decided to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a comedian at the age of 31 to overcome his financial hardships.

During the broadcast, Yoon also spoke emotionally about the recent passing of his father from bile duct cancer and the loss of his mother eight years ago. Fellow comedian Lee Seung-yoon also appeared on the program, sharing personal reflections on the loss of his own mother.
