Comedy festival lights up Dozza and Toscanella with free summer shows

The seventh edition of the "Sotto le stelle di Dozza" comedy festival will run for eight evenings in July and August, offering free performances in the historic squares of Dozza and the nearby hamlet of Toscanella. Organized by Davide Dalfiume and the association Teatro La Bottega del Buonumore in collaboration with the local municipality, the event is part of the Bologna Estate 2026 programme. Dalfiume described the project as "a journey into laughter that starts from local expressions and traditions, transforming them through irony into a universal language".

The line‑up includes comedians and performers such as Sergio Viglianese, Laura De Marchi, Andrea Ferrari, Samuel Barletti, Duilio Pizzocchi, Sasà Spasiano and Andrea Vasumi, with shows scheduled on specific dates in July and August. In case of rain, events will move indoors to the municipal theatre. Tickets are free, with optional seat reservations via WhatsApp or phone.
