Comedy festivals and stand-up shows expand across Spain

The Soto del Real Art and Tourism Center (CAT) has launched the fourth edition of its Comedy Festival, running from late September through December. The autumn season features a diverse lineup including monologues, musical parodies, improvisation, and family theater.

Scheduled performers include Sinacio, the Aragonese duo Los Gandules, and various comedy groups such as 'La Liamos Parda' and 'Chisteando'. The festival offers various formats to appeal to different comedic tastes.

Simultaneously, Madrid's comedy scene remains highly active with numerous venues hosting stand-up performances. The city's offerings range from large theaters like Teatro Príncipe Gran Vía and Teatro Gran Vía to intimate settings in neighborhoods like Malasaña. Local bars and specialized comedy clubs continue to provide regular programming, including open mic nights and themed comedy shows.
