Comedy film ‘Idiots’ releases second trailer

IFC has released a second official trailer for the comedy film ‘Idiots’, directed by Macon Blair. The film, which premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival under the title ‘The Sh*theads’, follows two unqualified individuals, played by Dave Franco and O’Shea Jackson Jr., who are hired to transport a wealthy, problematic teenager to a rehabilitation center. The mission quickly devolves into dangerous mayhem.

The cast includes Peter Dinklage, Kiernan Shipka, Nicholas Braun, and Mason Thames, who portrays the character Sheridan. Described as an absurdist stoner comedy, the film is expected to be released at the end of the summer.
