Comedy play ‘De Repente Nós’ to premiere in Rio de Janeiro

The comedy play ‘De Repente Nós’, written and directed by Daniel Porto, is set to premiere on October 10 at the Sala Mauro Mendonça in the Teatro Fashion Mall, located in São Conrado.

Starring Andréa Veiga and Ricardo Duque, the production explores the ‘empty nest’ phase of a long-term relationship. The story follows Duda and Raquel, a couple married for 30 years, as they navigate life after their child has grown and left the home. Through couple's therapy, the characters revisit three decades of shared history, discovering how their individual perspectives on past events often differ. The play uses humor and emotion to examine intimacy, coexistence, and the transformations inherent in long-term partnerships.
