Northern Italy hosts various cultural and religious celebrations

Various communities in Northern Italy are holding events and commemorations related to Sant'Alessandro, the patron saint of Bergamo. In Bergamo, a two-week program titled “Custodire la comunità nella concordia” features art exhibitions, historical tours, markets, and religious ceremonies to celebrate the saint's legacy.

In Comenduno, the community is celebrating the feast of Sant'Alessandro with religious services, including a solemn mass and a traditional procession, alongside cultural activities like puppet shows. Historical reflections also highlight the saint's origins as a member of the Theban Legion.

Other regional news includes the “Motori in Musica” event in Selvino, combining motorsport and music, and the 23rd edition of the “Capodanno Alessandrino” in Alessandria, which celebrates the end of summer with community activities and charitable donations to Ail Alessandria-Asti Odv.
