Comerio launches free psychological support for young adults

The Somsart association has launched ‘Star Bene in Comune. Tra relazioni e identità’, a free psychological support service located in Comerio, Italy. The initiative is specifically designed for young people and young adults between the ages of 17 and 30.

Running from October 2026 to October 2027, the program offers both individual and group sessions led by psychologists and psychotherapists. Services include psychotherapy, drama therapy, and self-help groups. The project aims to help participants navigate the challenges of transitioning into adulthood, such as managing studies and work, addressing family conflicts, achieving autonomy, and building healthy emotional relationships.

The initiative is supported by the Intesa Sanpaolo Charity Fund, the Fondazione Comunitaria del Varesotto, and the Municipality of Comerio. Somsart developed the service in response to high demand observed through collaborations with secondary schools and local mental health services.
