Comexus welcomes 53 US scholars to Mexico via Fulbright program
The Mexico-United States Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (Comexus) has welcomed a new cohort of 53 American scholars under the Fulbright-García Robles program. These participants are engaged in eight different academic and professional modalities across Mexico.
The scholars will participate in various activities, including scientific research, teaching, and postgraduate studies at institutions such as UNAM and ITAM. A specific business component of the program is designed for students or recent graduates in fields like Economics, International Business, and International Relations. This track allows them to conduct professional internships at companies based in Mexico, focusing on priority sectors for both nations.
The Fulbright-García Robles program is currently celebrating 35 years in Mexico and 80 years globally. Selected scholars, chosen for high academic performance, receive annual funding of approximately $25,000 depending on their specific modality.
