Comic art editor Michael Rhode details publishing and judging record
Michael Rhode, a longtime figure in comic‑art scholarship, co‑edited the book *The Art of Richard Thompson* and has authored the annual *Comics Research Bibliography*. He serves as Exhibits and Media Reviews editor and assistant editor for the *International Journal of Comic Art* and has contributed articles to publications such as *Hogan's Alley* and the *Comics Journal*.
Rhode has been a judge for the RFK Journalism Awards editorial cartoon division (2009‑2022) and for the Herblock Award (2015, 2016, 2020).
