Comicfestival Hamburg scheduled for October 2026

The Comicfestival Hamburg is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4, 2026, across various locations in the St. Pauli, Karoviertel, and Neustadt districts. Since its inception in 2006, the event has become a significant hub for the international and German-speaking comic community, focusing on innovative works that address contemporary social issues.

The festival features a comic fair held at Kölibri and Buttclub, where publishers, collectives, artists, and universities present books, zines, and posters. The fair will run from 11:00 to 18:00 on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4. Additionally, the Hamburg Comic Library, ‘The Gutter’, will open its doors in the Gängeviertel on Sunday, October 4, from 12:00 to 18:00, providing free access to comics.
