COMIPOL achieves third ISO 9001:2015 recertification with zero non-conformities
The Military and Police Commission (COMIPOL), an agency of the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), has achieved its third consecutive ISO 9001:2015 recertification. Notably, the evaluation conducted by the Dominican Institute for Quality (Indocal) resulted in zero non-conformities, marking the first time the institution has reached this specific outcome.
The audit covered administrative procedures and operational services, including road protection and assistance, prehospital medicine, and vehicle rescue. These services are provided across more than 3,200 kilometers of national highways.
Colonel Jorge A. Rivera López, director of COMIPOL, stated that the certification ensures the continuity of the institution's Quality Management System and reflects adherence to international standards for the services provided to road users.
