Comiso football club applies for promotion to Promozione

The Comiso football club has officially submitted an application for promotion to the Promozione league. While currently registered for the Prima Categoria, the club is seeking a vacancy following the decision by San Gregorio di Catania not to enroll in the higher division.

President Gaetano Tomasello noted that Comiso holds a favorable position in the ranking of ten teams that submitted applications by the August 24 deadline. The club's technical staff remains led by Raffaele Monaco, who returns after the previous season, supported by Emanuele Monaco as assistant coach and Alessandro Scaglione as goalkeeper coach.

If the application for Promozione is successful, the club aims for a stable season to ensure survival in the category. Should they remain in Prima Categoria, the objective is to compete for the top positions and win the championship. Recent organizational changes include the appointment of Silvio Meli as vice president, the confirmation of Anthony Tidona as sporting director, and Angelo Tummino as team manager.
