Comitato Daniele Chianelli organizes sea trip for sick child

The Comitato Daniele Chianelli organized a special trip to the beaches of Senigallia for a young girl receiving treatment at the pediatric onco-hematology unit in Perugia. The child, who is of South American origin and has been staying at the Daniele Chianelli Residence for over a year, had expressed a deep desire to see the sea again during sessions with psychologists.

Accompanied by her parents and a team of professionals—including psychologists, educators, and a neuro-psychomotor therapist—the girl spent the day playing in the sand and collecting shells. Comitato president Franco Chianelli noted that while the trip initially caused some concern despite medical clearance, the initiative was driven by the belief that care involves supporting emotional well-being and happiness alongside medical therapy.

The organization provides a multidisciplinary support team, including social workers, nutritionists, and various therapists, to assist children and families navigating serious illnesses.
