Commemorations held for victims of Yavi massacre and former mayor Gülşah Durbay

In Erzurum, a memorial program was held in the Çat district to honor 33 victims, including five children, who were killed by PKK terrorists 33 years ago. The ceremony included religious services, a moment of silence, and a military salute at the Yavi Martyrdom. Erzurum Governor Aydın Baruş addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of national unity and the sanctity of the lives lost in the attack.

In Manisa, a separate memorial ceremony was held at the Koldere Cemetery to mark the birthday of the late Gülşah Durbay, former Mayor of Şehzadeler. The event was attended by family members, political figures including YENİ Party Deputy Chairman Özgür Ceylan and Çeşme Mayor Lal Denizli, and various local officials. Flowers were laid at her grave during the service.
