Commessaggio to host Day of Creation event

On October 10, the Laudato Si' Community will host the 'Day of Creation' in Commessaggio. The event is organized in collaboration with the Slow Food Oglio Po branch, the Casalasco Viadanese Organic Agricultural District, and the Il Torrazzo Cultural Association.

The afternoon includes a guided nature walk along the Bogina canal, a site noted for its biodiversity within the 'Oglio Sud' protected area. Following the excursion, a prayer service will be held at the ancient Church of Santa Maria Prima.

The program concludes with a presentation of the book 'Agroecology and struggles for an agriculture without pesticides' by Francesco Pugliese. The book discusses the pesticide referendum in Malles, Val Venosta, as a model for grassroots democracy and environmental protection.
