Candidates for leadership in the Manisa and Sivas Commodity Exchanges have announced various development projects ahead of their upcoming elections.
Rıza Seyyar, candidate for the Manisa Commodity Exchange, proposed establishing accredited laboratories for soil analysis, oil analysis for olive and olive oil producers, and residue (pesticide) analysis. His platform also includes creating licensed warehouses for products like grapes and cotton to regulate markets and organizing educational seminars to increase crop yields and reduce production costs.
In Sivas, Harun Bozdağ, candidate for the Sivas Commodity Exchange, unveiled a 14-point plan focused on reducing financial burdens for members. He aims to halve registration fees and work toward removing tax burdens for grain merchants.
