Vietnam pig prices remain stable between 57,000 and 60,000 VND/kg

The Vietnamese pig market has remained largely stable, with prices fluctuating between 57,000 and 60,000 VND/kg. Northern Vietnam continues to maintain the highest price levels in the country, with several provinces including Hanoi, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, and Thai Nguyen reaching the 60,000 VND/kg mark.

In the Central Highlands and Central regions, prices are steady between 57,000 and 58,000 VND/kg. Similarly, the Southern market shows stability, with prices ranging from 57,000 to 58,000 VND/kg across provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Can Tho.

While some Northern localities saw minor adjustments of 1,000 VND/kg, the overall market shows a balance of supply and demand without widespread downward trends. Additionally, data indicates a significant increase in meat imports to Vietnam, with imports rising 11.4% in volume and 32.4% in value over the past seven months.
