Common Creation launches Linux eSIM tooling for SGP. 32 IoT standards
Common Creation, the Japanese company behind the LibeSIM eSIM technology partner, has launched new software components to support the implementation of the GSMA SGP. 32 and SGP. 22 standards on Linux-based IoT hardware.
The release includes an SGP. 32-compliant IoT Profile Assistant (IPAd) for Linux devices, an SGP. 22-compatible LPA for Linux, and an eUICC configuration utility. The IPAd allows IoT devices to communicate with an eSIM IoT Remote Manager (eIM) via cellular, Wi-Fi, or wired LAN to manage profile downloads, enablement, and disablement.
These tools aim to bridge the gap between technical standards and practical implementation, reducing the need for device manufacturers to develop custom profile-management software for constrained IoT devices. The software components are available for verification purposes to existing LibeSIM customers.
