Communist Party of China delegation visits Luxembourg

A delegation from the Communist Party of China (CPC) visited the Communist Party of Luxembourg (KPL) in Esch-sur-Alzette. The five-member delegation was led by Wang Xueyong, Director General of the CPC International Department's West Europe Bureau, and included Chinese Ambassador Hua Ning.

During the two-hour meeting, representatives discussed shifts in the international balance of power, the socio-economic situation in Luxembourg, and the rise of far-right movements in Europe. The parties also addressed European military spending by NATO and the EU, which the CPC and KPL view as being directed initially at Russia and eventually at China.

Both parties expressed support for multilateralism, international cooperation, and the strengthening of the United Nations to maintain global peace. The meeting concluded with an exchange of gifts and a commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two organizations.
