Communities celebrate traditional patron saint festivals

Various communities in Argentina and Mexico held traditional patron saint festivals to celebrate local identity and religious heritage.

In Quetrequén, Argentina, residents marked the town's 122nd anniversary and the patronal feasts in honor of Santa Teresa de Jesús. The event included a floral offering led by Commission President Juan Pablo Resio, a community procession featuring local gaucho groups in traditional attire, and a Holy Mass. Further celebrations are scheduled to include a folk music event at the Quetrequén Fútbol Club.

In Ajacuba, Mexico, the community held the traditional fair in honor of the Christ of Santa Teresa. The festivities, supported by municipal authorities including Mayor Zitlaly Jazmín Zúñiga Peña, featured cultural performances such as dances by local senior citizens and a dance group from Pilares, aimed at preserving regional customs and community unity.
