Community activities in Biberach and Kettershausen

In Biberach, approximately 110 new fifth-grade students at Wieland-Gymnasium participated in a traditional “Fünferwochenende” (five-weekend) event. Organized by twelfth-grade students, the two-day program aimed to foster community and help new students acclimate to the school. Activities included various team-building games such as table tennis, football, and memory challenges, concluding with a group breakfast.

In Kettershausen, third and fourth-grade primary school students participated in a planting action at the Schwende-Biotop. Under guidance, 39 children planted 24 shrubs and trees, including species such as dogwood, rose hips, privet, barberry, and hornbeam. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to maintain the three-hectare natural landscape near the Schleipfbach ditch.
