Community and culinary openings announced in Santander and Cádiz

The Finca Altamira cafeteria in Santander is scheduled to reopen on October 17 under the management of the Obra San Martín Foundation. This initiative, resulting from a collaboration between the Santander City Council and the Foundation, aims to create an inclusive community space. The cafeteria will employ people with disabilities in both the bar and dining areas to promote social normalization and community integration.

In Cádiz, the owners of the restaurant La Marmita, the Fernández Lasanta brothers, are set to open a new traditional tavern named El Siglo on Calle Ancha. Scheduled to open on October 2, the establishment will focus on tapas, including Iberian meats, cheeses from the Sierra de Cádiz, and seafood from Barbate. The venue will operate with a self-service model featuring high tables and a selection of wines and Cruzcampo beer.
