Community and cultural initiatives launch in Giffone, Bari, and Martina Franca

In Giffone, the Oratorio San Bartolomeo of the Maria SS. del Soccorso Parish has officially launched its new community program. Following recent renovations to create a functional and welcoming environment, the initiative aims to provide children and youth with a stable space for growth through recreational activities, workshops, and educational and prayer-based moments.

Simultaneously, the “La Zattera di Carta” project is launching a twelve-month cultural initiative connecting Bari and Martina Franca. Promoted by Armonie d’Itria under the “Ad alta voce 2025” call, the program focuses on expressive and loud reading for children aged 9 to 12. The project involves a network of schools, libraries, and universities to provide pedagogical training, theatrical reading workshops, and reading groups to foster community engagement through literature.
