Community and religious events held in Sokoły and Legnica

On September 13, 2026, several community and religious events took place in Poland. In Sokoły, the third installment of ‘Podlaskie Spotkania z Biesiadą’, titled ‘Chrzciny’, was held to celebrate regional traditions through music and reenactments of historical family ceremonies.

The event featured performances by various musical groups, including the Senior Club in Sokoły, the Harmonica ensemble led by Jan Mokrzewski, and the band Defis. The celebration was supported by several regional and national institutions, including the Marshal's Office of the Podlaskie Voivodeship and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In Legnica, the fourth Bible Study meeting was held at the parish of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Father Krzysztof Batóg from Zielona Góra delivered a lecture focusing on the covenant between God and Abraham as described in the Book of Genesis. The discussion explored themes of faith, obedience, and the historical significance of the covenant in relation to Christian theology.
