Community awareness and training initiatives in Greek schools

In Kilkis, the ‘VimatiZO’ Association of Parents and Guardians of Persons with Disabilities organized an awareness event for students and teachers of the 7th Primary School. Held at a local gymnasium, the initiative featured four sports activity stations designed to demonstrate how individuals with disabilities participate in athletics and to promote social inclusion and equality through sport.

In Petroupoli, the Parents and Guardians Associations of the 3rd and 6th Primary Schools organized a first aid seminar titled ‘Basic Modules of First Aid’. Led by a certified rescuer from the European Resuscitation Council, the free workshop aims to provide the school community with essential skills for handling emergencies. The initiative also supports an ongoing effort to purchase a defibrillator for the school complex.
