Community Bank Bangladesh PLC celebrates 7th anniversary

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC celebrated its seventh anniversary at the Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka. The event was held under the theme ‘Transformation, Growth, and Sustainability,’ focusing on a commitment to modern, customer-centric, and responsible banking.

Interior Minister Salahuddin Ahmed attended as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of improving efficiency and service quality within the banking sector to bring more people under the umbrella of financial services. He also urged the bank to ensure that corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives are meaningful and welfare-oriented, focusing on education, health, the environment, and humanitarian aid rather than being mere formalities.

Managing Director Mohammad Imtiaz Uddin stated that the bank aims to use change as a driver for improvement and sustainability as a foundation for long-term trust. The bank's Chairman and Inspector General of Police, Md. Ali Hossain Fakir, presided over the event, which was attended by representatives from Bangladesh Bank, regulatory agencies, and various corporate stakeholders.
