Community celebrations and religious feasts held in Hemuševec and Zadar

In Hemuševec, the ‘Zdenac susreta’ (Meeting Well) has been renovated following an initiative by Katarina Mikec and the local committee. The site, which served as a historical gathering point for local youth, was decorated with colors representing the Irish flag—green, white, and orange—at the request of the Društvo žena Tratinčica. The renovation was funded by the City of Prelog, with additional donations of wooden benches and flowerbeds from local companies Gradis d.o.o. and Agriko sistemi.

In Zadar, the Benedictine monastery of St. Mary celebrated the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The solemn evening Mass was led by Fra Antonio Gospić, who delivered a sermon focusing on the theological significance of the feast, the role of Mary in salvation, and the promise of eternal life.
