Community charity drives organized in Argentina and Mexico
Various community charity initiatives are taking place in Argentina and Mexico to support vulnerable populations.
In Zárate, Argentina, Catholic parishes have joined the ‘Más por Menos’ National Collection. Running until September 13, the campaign raises funds for social and pastoral projects, including community kitchens, housing, health centers, and schools. The initiative is organized by the Episcopal Commission for Aid to the Most Needy Regions of the Argentine Episcopal Conference.
In Los Mochis, Mexico, the Colectivo Tarámari is organizing a food drive on September 13 to benefit 51 children in the Cuitaboca and Las Juntas mountain communities. The collection aims to gather non-perishable items, such as rice, beans, and canned goods, to support community kitchens that provide daily meals to students in these remote areas.
