Community charity events organized in Poland
Two separate charity events are scheduled for Sunday, October 25, in Poland to support individuals facing medical challenges.
In Bożków, a festival is being held at the Koszyn Occasional Restaurant to support 11-year-old Hania Jasicka, who is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Organized by ‘Hania’s Team’ alongside local businesses and artists, the event features concerts, auctions, sports car displays, and quad rides. Auction items include a Fiat 126p for 24-hour use, a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and various vouchers from local companies.
In Goczałków, the ‘Kompas’ Association and the Volunteer Fire Department are organizing a charity run and march to assist 22-year-old Kacper Pałubiak. Following a railway accident that resulted in multiple organ injuries and the amputation of his left leg, funds from the event will go toward his rehabilitation and the purchase of a high-quality prosthesis. Participants can choose between a 5 km Nordic walking/running route or an 11 km running course.
