Community cultural events scheduled in De Panne and the Netherlands

Various community cultural events are taking place across Belgium and the Netherlands. In De Panne, Belgium, the Maurice Calmeyn Library is celebrating its opening week from October 4 to October 11. Located in the former Sint-Pieterskerk, the festivities include a free open house with tours, jazz concerts, a time capsule unveiling, and discussions regarding reading in the digital age.

In the Netherlands, libraries in Waalwijk, Waspik, and Sprang-Capelle are hosting activities for Children's Book Week from September 30 to October 11. Under the theme ‘Spot aan!’, the program features storytelling, dance workshops, craft sessions, and stop-motion filmmaking workshops designed for various age groups, ranging from toddlers to children aged 12.
