Community cultural programs launch for youth in Magyarcsernye and Komárom

The Ady Endre Cultural Association in Magyarcsernye organized its first five-day summer camp for children, focusing on community experiences, folk dance, and crafts. Led by educators and instructors, the program catered to three age groups: preschoolers, primary students, and older children. The camp attracted 47 participants, including local children and those from the diaspora living in Germany.

In Komárom, the Egressy Béni Municipal Cultural Center is expanding its offerings with a new puppet workshop starting in September. Led by puppeteer Gábor Kalocsányi, the program is designed for students in grades 5 through 9. The workshop aims to develop creativity and manual dexterity by teaching participants how to animate everyday objects, such as sticks or paper, to create characters and stories.
