Community cycling events organized in Italy for peace and health

Various community cycling initiatives are taking place across Italy to promote social causes. In Novara, EMERGENCY and FIAB are organizing ‘Pedaliamo per la Pace’, a series of symbolic rides from July to September aimed at promoting peace and social justice. A specific event in Novara is scheduled for September 23, featuring a 6.5 km route through the city to visit sites of civil engagement and resistance.

In Florence, the ‘GiraTutta!’ solidarity ride is scheduled for October 4, 2026, at Parco delle Cascine. Organized by Fondazione Careggi ETS in collaboration with local partners, the 21-kilometer ride aims to support the quality of life for oncology patients. Proceeds from registration fees will benefit the ‘I CAREggi’ project, which focuses on the well-being of individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
