Community development initiatives launched in Koblata and Kamassêla

Community development organizations in Côte d'Ivoire are launching several local initiatives focused on youth empowerment and educational infrastructure.

In Koblata, near Bouaflé, the Mutuelle de développement de Koblata (MUDEKO) launched the KAPANVA program. The initiative aims to support young entrepreneurs through financial aid, training, and infrastructure development. For its first edition, one million CFA francs was mobilized to assist four project holders, including one individual planning to open a fishmonger business.

In Kamassêla, near Touba, the village's youth development mutual launched a project to rehabilitate the housing for the local primary school director. The project was completed with support from the Compagnie minière du Bafing and contributions from village residents. The handover ceremony was attended by local officials, including the central sub-prefect of Touba and the Vice-President of the Senate, Sarra Sako Fadika.
