Community development projects launched in Ghana and Namibia

In Ghana, Jirapa Member of Parliament Cletus Seidu Dapilah and Municipal Chief Executive Peter N. N. To-ang have commissioned several community projects. These include a three-unit Junior High School classroom block at St Augustine JHS in Konkuo, a Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound, and a public toilet. Additionally, 970 pieces of school furniture were presented to the Ghana Education Service to address shortages, with another 2,000 desks expected to arrive soon.

In Namibia, the non-profit organization FLECHAS has donated hygiene dignity kits to 157 girls at Mangetti Dune Combined School and Makata Primary School in the Tsumkwe Constituency. Launched via the Washable Sanitary Pad Project, the initiative provides reusable menstrual hygiene kits to help reduce absenteeism and support the education of adolescent girls in rural communities.
