Community developments reported in Campo Maior and Funchal

In Campo Maior, Minister of Agriculture and Sea José Manuel Fernandes visited Black-Pata alongside Mayor Luís Rosinha. The municipality also announced its cultural agenda for September and reflected on the success of the 2026 Festas do Povo, which received national and international recognition. Additionally, the municipality continues to offer monthly economic development support sessions for local entrepreneurs in partnership with the Alentejo Regional Development Agency (ADRAL).

In Funchal, SocioHabitaFunchal concluded its 2026 Summer Camp with a closing celebration at the Santo António and Curral das Freiras Basic School. The two-month program served 120 children and youths aged 6 to 16 through nine thematic clubs covering sustainability, arts, sports, and health. The closing event featured plastic arts exhibitions and performing arts, including music, theater, and breakdance.
