Community events and conferences focus on children's rights in Brazil

In Paranaguá, the 5C Cultural Center celebrated its 11th anniversary with its first Run and Walk event. The initiative, held at Parque São João, focused on cooperation and community coexistence rather than traditional competition. Participants, including children, adolescents, and families, crossed the finish line in groups to emphasize the center's motto, “At 5C, the important thing is arriving together.”

In Caucaia, the municipal government is hosting the 8th Municipal Conference on the Rights of Children and Adolescents. The event aims to evaluate public policies and develop proposals to strengthen the Guarantee of Rights System for Children and Adolescents (SGDCA) and participatory democracy. The conference brings together public managers, counselors, civil society, and youth to discuss ways to expand integral protection and increase public participation in policy decisions.
