Community events and local services scheduled in Pine Bluff and Elkins

Various community events and services are scheduled across different regions. In Pine Bluff, New Community Church will host a food pantry giveaway on September 19 starting at 8 a.m. Additionally, House of Bread Deliverance Church will hold its monthly food giveaway from 11 a.m. until supplies are exhausted, requiring proof of address.

Other scheduled activities include the Cape Circles Workshop at Morgan Farms, designed to help women manage emotional exhaustion, and a literacy class for children aged 3 to 6 at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas.

In Elkins, preparations are underway for the Forest Festival Grand Feature Parade, with seat reservations available through Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. The Elkins Farmers Market continues its Saturday operations, and the Tennerton United Methodist Church is hosting its 30th Annual Fall Festival.
