Community events announced for addiction recovery and national architecture days

The Maison d'aide Villa St-Léonard will hold its second congress on October 3 and 4 at the Centre multifonctionnel Rolland-Dion in Saint-Raymond. The event features specific programming for individuals in recovery, including lectures by psychologist Danielle Poirier on maintaining recovery and a session on perseverance. A separate program for family members and supporters will take place on October 3 to provide tools for understanding addiction and supporting loved ones.

In France, the 11th edition of the National Architecture Days is scheduled for October 15 to 18, 2026. Organized by the Ordre national des architectes, the theme “Réhabiliter: bâtir l'avenir” focuses on the rehabilitation of existing structures to meet contemporary environmental and usage needs. The event includes workshops, building tours, and urban walks across the country, with specific activities designed for families and students.
