Community events for children held in Plankstetten and Guben

Various community events for children are taking place in Germany. In Plankstetten, the Abt Maurus Kindergarten is hosting an interactive 'Creation Day' at Kloster Plankstetten on September 27. The event features seven stations designed for children aged three to twelve, focusing on the life of Saint Francis of Assisi and themes such as gratitude for nature, peace, and sharing. The program includes a photo station, a stuffed animal exchange, and activities like planting sunflower seeds.

In Guben, the Diakonie Hospital is hosting a 'Teddy Clinic' from September 23 to 25. Approximately 400 preschool children will bring their stuffed animals to undergo a simulated hospital experience, including registration, X-rays, and pharmacy visits. The initiative aims to reduce children's fears of medical environments by allowing them to act as 'parents' to their toys. One day of the event is dedicated specifically to children from Poland.
