Community events for children scheduled in Yokosuka and Tsu

Various community events for children are scheduled to take place in Japan during August 2026.

In Yokosuka, Nojima Mall Yokosuka will host a school lunch event on August 22. The event aims to provide food education by allowing children to learn about school meals through food samples, displays, and the opportunity to handle cooking tools used in school kitchens. Participants can also receive school lunch recipes.

In Tsu, the children's cafeteria ‘Midori no Ie’, operated by Greens Co., Ltd., will hold a summer vacation special event on August 19 at Hotel Green Park Tsu. The event is free for participants up to high school age and will feature a menu including special Hayashi rice and beef teppanyaki. The initiative seeks to provide a safe place for children to connect with others and enjoy nutritious meals.
