Community events held in Altenbüren and Viersen

Local community events are taking place in Germany, including a rescheduled senior gathering in Altenbüren and a tenant appreciation event in Viersen.

In Altenbüren, the senior meeting has been moved to October 8, 2026, to avoid conflict with the Harvest Festival and the St. Johannes marksmen's festival. The event will feature a service led by Deacon Manfred Becher, followed by coffee and cake at the parish hall. Pastor Rainer Müller from Brilon-Scharfenberg is scheduled to speak on the topic of identity.

In Viersen, the Viersener Aktien-Baugesellschaft (VAB) hosted an event in an evangelical community hall to honor long-term tenants. The gathering celebrated residents who have lived in VAB properties for over 25 years, and in some cases, more than half a century. Company board member Ertunc Deniz and various staff members attended the event to engage with the community.
