Community events held in Bad Tabarz and Bad Blankenburg

In Bad Tabarz, painter Mariya Boyanova is hosting an open studio day on October 8. Her work features fluid colors and complex structures designed to create landscapes that explore themes of movement and transformation.

In Bad Blankenburg, the Rudolstadt-Saalfeld church district held a Diakonie Day to showcase local community engagement and church-led initiatives. The event included a ‘Market of Opportunities’ where citizens could interact with various organizations. During the festivities, Mayor Thomas Schubert presented several citizen awards: Petrick GmbH received the award for Economy, Social Affairs, and Environment; Henry Conradi was honored for sports; the Kurstadtverein was recognized for Art and Culture; and Sibylle Janca received a special award for her commitment to the city.
