Community events held in Békéscsaba and Sopron

Various community events took place in Hungary, including a veteran vehicle gathering in Békéscsaba and a family sports day in Sopron.

In Békéscsaba, a veteran car meet was held near the city sports hall, featuring approximately 150 vintage vehicles. Organized by Gyurika Gőböly, the event included family-oriented activities such as skill competitions, a retro quiz, and a strength competition between a tractor and a Rába truck. Participants included owners of diverse vehicles, such as a 1967 Renault 16 and a French vintage vehicle.

In Sopron, the ninth ‘Sportolj Sopron!’ family day was hosted at the City Stadium and Novomatic Arena. The event, organized by the Sopron Mayor's Office and the Sopron City Leisure Sports Association, allowed participants to try over 30 different sports. The initiative aimed to help children discover suitable physical activities. Mayor Ciprián Farkas emphasized the importance of sports for health and community building.
