Community events held in Dosquebradas and Cúcuta

In Dosquebradas, the local government and Olímpica Stereo are organizing the second ‘Canninata por el Amor a los Peluditos’ on October 25. The event is designed to promote physical activity, citizen integration, and responsible pet ownership. The walk will begin at Mercamás and conclude at the ‘DoReMi’ Business Fair at the El Progreso shopping center, encouraging families to participate in outdoor activities with their pets.

In Cúcuta, Los Olivos successfully hosted the second edition of ‘October Big Day’ at the Jardines San José Cemetery Park. The event drew over 200 participants for birdwatching, environmental education, and nature connection. Activities included guided tours to observe local bird species and creative workshops such as painting and embroidery, aiming to demonstrate that cemetery parks serve as vital spaces for biodiversity and community environmental awareness.
