Community events held in Gioia dei Marsi and Luco dei Marsi

Various community events have taken place in the Marsica region of Italy. In Gioia dei Marsi, singer-songwriter Enrico Nigiotti performed a concert at Piazza della Repubblica, drawing a large crowd. Mayor Gianluca Alfonsi noted that the event is part of a broader strategy to use culture as an investment to increase community engagement and regional attractiveness.

In Luco dei Marsi, the community celebrated its patronal feast. Bishop Giovanni presided over the Eucharistic celebration, which was attended by local authorities and many faithful. During his homily, the Bishop emphasized the importance of faith as service and care for others, specifically calling on the community to support the elderly, the sick, and the vulnerable.
