Community events held in Utrecht and Deventer

The Seventh-day Adventist Church held its twentieth ‘55+ day’ anniversary at the Triumfatorkerk in Utrecht on October 3, 2026. Approximately 200 attendees participated in the jubilee event, which featured musical performances by the Joyfull choir and musicians Peter and Esther Dingemanse. The program included a religious reflection by Reinder Bruinsma and a fundraising initiative for the Uganda Project, which raised €4,704.85 through in-person donations and livestream contributions.

In Deventer, the Broederenkerk is hosting its tenth annual interactive Christmas stable exhibition, titled ‘Op weg naar de stal’. Running from December 11, 2026, to January 3, 2027, the 400 m² display allows visitors to walk through a diorama depicting the Christmas story, including scenes from Nazareth and Bethlehem. The exhibition is free to the public and typically attracts around 20,000 visitors annually.
