Community Events in Germany and Austria Honor Volunteers, Raise Funds

In Rösrath, Germany, about 300 volunteers were celebrated at an appreciation festival organized by the Engagierte Stadt and the Bürgerstiftung Rösrath. The evening featured musical tributes, comedy, and the presentation of the city's volunteer cards by Mayor Yannick Steinbach.

In Wiener Neustadt, Austria, a benefit concert at the Stadttheater raised €3,740 for the Ronald McDonald Haus. The event, attended by local officials and featuring the Vermont Youth Orchestra, highlighted the role of culture in supporting families with seriously ill children.
