Community events scheduled for Osio Sotto and Lavena Ponte Tresa

Osiovola Osvy Day aviation culture community events charity fundraiser

Several community events are scheduled for Sunday, September 27, in the Lombardy region of Italy.

In Osio Sotto, the fifth edition of ‘Osiovola’ will take place in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. The event focuses on aviation culture and is designed for families and youth. Activities include demonstrations of gliders and motorized hang gliders, helicopter sightseeing tours in the Saore district, and drone and model aircraft displays at the Ruralia museum. Local associations will also host workshops for children involving kites and model planes.

In Lavena Ponte Tresa, the ‘Osvy Day’ will be held at the local Oratorio to honor the memory of Osvaldo. The program includes a children's football tournament, dance performances, and various musical acts ranging from rap to blues. The event serves a charitable purpose, featuring a fundraiser to establish a scholarship for students at Liceo V. Sereni, an institution Osvaldo was closely associated with.
