Community events scheduled for Rozendaal and Woerden

Various community events are scheduled in the Netherlands. In Rozendaal, the Kerk van Rozendaal will host an Open Podium on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Organized by the Kunst in de Kerk (KIK) working group, the event features a diverse program of classical and contemporary Dutch music, including vocals, piano, guitar, saxophone, and harp. The concert is free to attend and provides a platform for both amateur and professional musicians.

In Woerden, a Rotary ice rink will return to the Kerkplein for five weeks, running from November 28, 2026, to January 3, 2027. The initiative, supported by local Rotary clubs, offers free skating for school children up to age 12 and low-cost access for others. The organizers are currently seeking additional corporate sponsors and adult volunteers to assist with operations and the upcoming curling competition.
